2004 Newmar KountryStar (35.5 ft, Class A) in great condition for sale
Asking price: $25,000
Purchased 1 year ago and bought house that doesn’t have the space to accommodate keeping it.
Everything on it works and kept in very clean condition. Previously owned twice (we’re the third owners). This RV has been a labor of love for all owners and there are additions or improvements contributed from each owner.
24,300 miles, non-smoking, clean title, gasoline engine, no history of any water damage, and no current leaks.
Specs:
Size: 35.5ft
Slide outs: 2 slide outs (opposite sides) - one for common area, one for bedroom.
Energy sources: Multiple power sources (generator, electrical hookup - has adapters for 50, 30, or 20amp, batteries, LP, and solar power). Comes with surge protector we purchased for it this past year. Second owner put battery disconnects on system to prolong battery longevity and the solar panels (so those are new within the past several years as well).
Bedroom: lots of drawers and cabinets as well as a large closet. Queen size bed with memory foam topper - very comfortable night’s sleep! Arguably better than our bed in our house.
Bathroom: Large cabinet, medicine cabinet, working fan and hair dryer, standing shower with showerhead that has water toggle for conserving your water when you’re dry docking. We replaced seals on the toilet this past year, so those should be good for a long while. Shower head updated to modern style.
Common areas:
Kitchen has a lot of cabinet space for dishes and a large cabinet for pantry, LP gas range with oven, microwave, sizable fridge (double door- max possible size) with freezer for a RV and it’s capable of being powered by electricity or LP, and working sink. There is a hood fan in the microwave as well as a ceiling fan above the kitchen area for venting.
Dining table can be extended with a leaf and has four chairs (2 static, 2 folding, all original).
Living room has a couch that folds out into a full bed (with new memory foam mattress) and a lounge chair. Driver and passenger chairs can swivel around to face the living room area.
Electronics: 2 TV’s, one in the bedroom, one in the common area. Previous owner put in a new stereo and made it so the common space TV can be played throughout all the speakers from the front to back of RV with an option of turning the back of the RV speakers off. Cable/Satellite capable (though we never used this ourselves).
Heating/AC: the RV can be both heated and cooled. Heat can be LP or electric/generator (the warm air is sourced differently depending on which energy source you choose). AC comes from vents spaced throughout the ceiling.
Replaced every interior lightbulb inb the past 6 months. Extras will come home with you!
Safety: all smoke detectors work, we installed a new LP detector because it wasn’t working when we purchased it, and jack detectors work. There is also a back up camera.
Outside:
Awnings that pull over windows to help keep RV cool in the summer. Large awning that can be used to make patio area outside of door (some wear and tear).
Bike rack on back. We just purchased new rubber fittings for the bike rack bc the older ones had UV damage. Comes with the RV and can be replaced quickly.
PLENTY of storage space below deck. There is one storage bin door that the panel has peeled away and some water got in the door (purchased it damaged, selling it damaged). There is no water damage to any other part of the RV and this is not INSIDE the RV, the storage bin door just needs to be replaced. All other doors/windows are fine. Roof in great condition. Seals in great condition. ABSOLUTELY NO WATER DAMAGE on or in the main cab.
We bought several electrical adapters this past year and a new surge protector.
We put a new water filter system on the RV with a quick disconnect for easy breakdown/setup. Black and Grey tanks have been disinfectant treated and cleaned. We have brand new fresh water filters we haven’t put in the system yet that we will provide with the purchase, as well as grey/black tank cleaning pods.
Brand new windshield wipers purchased 2 months ago.
LP tank is 3/4, gas tank is also 3/4 full.
Passed CA smog test easily in May of last year.
On our last trip, oil change indicator came on and we added 3 quarts of fresh oil, but it should probably be changed out.
A wonderful cruiser, and an even better home! Selling as is. Willing to negotiate, of course.
