Basement remodel forcing us to remove 6 x 8 lead lined 1960's bomb shelter since despite my husbands wishes my mother refuses to move in with us if she is forced to use it as a clothes closet! 4" lead panels will protect you from radiation and is a perfect purchase for a survivalist or someone who lives inside the beltway. Room is paneled covering the lead panels but you can see by the door pictures how thick.You dismantle providing insurance in case the heavy lead panels flatten one of your helpers!
