Made in 1979 , this piano is a dark mahogany color in beautiful condition. It does need to be tuned as it has been played minimally over the years.

Chickering & Sons was an American piano manufacturer located in Boston, Massachusetts, known for producing award-winning instruments of superb quality and design. It is one of the oldest American piano companies, going back to 1823. In the mid 1800's, Chickering was the largest piano manufacturer in the United States. There have been Chickering pianos in the White House. Abraham Lincoln owned a Chickering piano.
