1913 Empire Revival Influenced Colby and Company Victorian Upright Piano in Quarter Sawn Oak.
This piano was built by the Colby Piano Company of Erie, PA., in 1913. Colby built quality pianos from about 1884-1920. It has some influence of Empire Revival with the large handsome pillar legs and carved moldings. The piano is made of beautiful tiger striped quarter sawn oak wood.
The tone of the piano is deep and resonate. It is a stunning instrument and quite the show piece. A matching bench with storage compartment is included.
